Pivotal has attended the 7th International Biotechnology Conference

Pivotal, has attended the 7th International Biotechnology Conference, a biennial event which took place from the 24th to the 26th of September in Santiago de Compostela-SPAIN.

The congress is organized by the Spanish Bioindustry Association (ASEBIO) and currently and only in this edition by the Autonomous Government of Galicia, the University of Santiago de Compostela, the University of Vigo and the City Council of Santiago.

We can estimate the attendance at over 100 companies from the entire biotechnology sector and other healthcare professionals, both Spain and abroad. Most of these attendees came from more than 20 countries around the world. In comparison with 2012, Biospain has attracted more than 2000 participants, an increase of 10 percent. Also the stand space at the trade fair has been mostly occupied, with more than half allocated to exhibitors.

According to Natalia Farr, our Communications Manager, and Pablo Ortiz, Consultant-Biotechs Division at Pivotal “the opportunity of attending Biospain has helped us to establish important contacts and at the same time meet face to face with current clients and potential ones”.
