Dr. Ibrahim FarrMD, PhD, FFPM (UK) PIVOTAL was set up by its founder Dr Ibrahim Farr who is Chairman and CEO. Dr Farr is a physician by training at the Autónoma University of Madrid, specialising in Psychiatry at the Maudsley Hospital Institute of Psychiatry - London. After a career in Clinical Medicine and Psychiatry he joined the pharmaceutical industry first as Associate Medical Director and then as the Medical Director for Marion Merrell Dow in Spain. Six years later he returned to academia at the Institute of Psychiatry London as a Research Fellow. He then returned to Spain in various senior positions in the Spanish / international pharmaceutical industry with Cyanamid, AHP-Wyeth, RPR and Aventis, where he was Senior Director Scientific Affairs (R+D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs) for Spain. |
